Norwex pillow cases are new to the product lineup in 2019.
At first, I really wasn’t sure if this is a product I would like, or frankly even need. But after sleeping on these pillow cases for the past week, I can tell you that they are by far the best pillow cases I have ever slept on!
Here is my review, and everything you need to know about them.
What Are Norwex Pillow Cases Made Of?
These pillow cases are made from a satiny soft Norwex Microfiber, and contains the Norwex exclusive BacLock anti-bacterial agent.
Norwex Pillow Cases Are Great For Acne Prone Skin
Speaking of BacLock, these pillow cases do come with the proprietary Norwex BacLock.
This helps make these pillow cases great for people with acne prone skin.
Norwex BacLock is an exclusive micro silver agent goes to work with self-purification properties against mold, fungi, and bacterial odor.
As with the Norwex cloths and other microfiber products, BacLock inhibits the growth of bacteria stemming from everyday oil, dirt, germs, and dead skin cells.
This means that there is less likelihood of your face coming in contact with bacteria from everyday oil, dirt, germs, and dead skin cells from night to night.
This definitely helps in the battle against acne.
Helps You Sleep Like A Dream
Seriously, these are the nicest pillow cases I’ve ever slept on. And my husband agrees too.
The microfiber is ultra-smooth and is very breathable, and not at all “scratchy” like some pillow cases are.
We’ve been sleeping great on these. In fact, we’re getting extras for us, and some for our kids as well.
And neutral “cloud” color of the pillow cases are nice because they work well with any décor.
Plus, they’re more durable than cotton pillow cases.
Having the Norwex BacLock in the pillow cases is a big thing to me now too. Honestly, I got really grossed out reading about the bacteria in most pillow cases, so in my mind this is another big win for Norwex and these pillow cases.
How To Clean Norwex Pillow Cases
Just like with any pillow cases, you’ll want to launder these regularly.
And, as with other Norwex products, you do not want to use bleach, fabric softeners, or dryer sheets as it will clog the microfiber, and reduce the effectiveness of the BacLock.
I recommend using the Norwex laundry detergent, which contains no fillers.
After washing, you can either air dry or machine dry.
Removing Stains From Norwex Pillow Cases
If you have tough stains on your pillow case, you can either:
- Pre-treat the pillowcase using Norwex Stain Remover
- Use Microfiber Cleaner Laundry Booster
