Holiday Cleaning with Norwex Products

With the holiday season fast approaching, there’s one thing you can count on – more cleaning!

Between the baking, meals, gifts, family, friends, and so much more, there’s a lot to do. Getting your home prepped and cleaned for guest, and then the cleanup afterwards can be a lot of work.

But the holiday’s are meant to be fun, not stressful. While I can’t promise everything will go smoothly with your get-togethers, or that your cute niece won’t spill grape juice on the carpet, I can promise to make the cleaning part much easier just by using Norwex products.

To help, I’ve put together a list of the 5 “Must Have” Norwex products for holiday cleaning.

1). Norwex Enviro Cloth

This product is going to be your main “go to” for almost everything.

The Norwex antibacterial Microfiber EnviroCloth removes dust, dirt and grease from all washable surfaces using only water. No chemicals!

Norwex Microfiber has the ability to remove up to 99% of bacteria from a surface when following the proper care and use instructions. The EnviroCloth:

  • Removes EVERYTHING from all surfaces.
  • The BacLock in the cloth (the micro silver antibacterial agent) goes to work to self-purify and inhibit odors from bacteria, mold and mildew growth within the cloth within 24 hours so that it is ready to use again.
  • Cuts cleaning time in half by using only water.
  • No need for harmful chemicals.
  • Saves money by using only water.
  • Eliminates the need for paper towels, creating less waste and less paper dust in the home.
  • Eliminates residual “chemical muck” left behind by typical cotton cloths and harsh cleaning products.
  • Traps dust and grime in the cloth and leaves surfaces cleaner, so you won’t have to clean as often.

Fold the cloth so you have eight clean sides to work with. Wipe with even strokes.

Use Dry for Dusting

When used dry for dusting, it creates static electricity that lifts the smallest particles of dust and dirt up into the cloth and prevents them from resettling on surfaces.

The super-absorbent EnviroCloth picks up dust particles and traps them in the cloth until you rinse it out.

Use Wet for General Cleaning

You can get the EnvrioCloth wet and use it for general cleaning and heavily soiled areas. It picks up everything using just water!

You can clean any surface that would normally be cleaned with soap and water, including bathrooms (taps, sinks, tubs, counters, toilets and more), walls, windows, floors, vehicles, toys, tools, kitchen appliances and surfaces, outdoor furniture and much more.

3). Norwex Sanira Toilet Brush System

If you’re having people over for the holidays, the bathrooms obviously become a frequently used area.

Fortunately, Norwex makes even the unpleasant task of cleaning toilets a lot easier.

The Sanira System is produced from environmentally friendly raw materials and combines toilet brush, caddy and self-dispensing cleaning solution all in one.

The non-poisonous, non-corrosive, vegetable-based cleaning solution is safe for septic systems and biodegrades within 48 hours.

The brush is made without cavities, reducing the chance of bacteria remaining in crevices.

  • Gets toilet bowls sparkling clean.
  • Self-dispensing system means no dripping or mess.
  • Reduces the amount of cleaner used by up to 10 times.
  • Unique design dispenses just enough solution, so there’s never any waste.
  • One bottle of solution lasts approximately one year with weekly use.
  • Solution biodegrades within 48 hours, leaving no harmful chemicals in the environment.
  • Bristle design uses the cleaning solution more effectively, rinses clean and doesn’t harbor bacteria.
  • System stores easily.

How To Use The Norwex Sanira System

Cut off the top of the cleaning solution cap. Place the bag into the bottom container.

Reassemble the system by placing the container with the hole in it on top, then inserting the brush into the container.

Gently push down on the brush until the solution fills the channels and starts to coat the bristles.

Empty as much water out of the toilet bowl as possible so the cleaner will not be diluted.

Clean the sides of the bowl first. Using the brush, work your way around and down the sides of the bowl.

Rinse brush with clean water by flushing toilet and place back into the caddy.

4). Norwex EnviroWand

We all have those hard-to-reach nooks and crannies in our homes that seldom, if ever, get cleaned properly.

Reaching high, out-of-the-way surfaces and angles can be difficult, so hard-to-clean areas often go ignored.

The Norwex EnviroWand provides an easier and more efficient way of holiday cleaning.

This flexible wand can be used in place of chemical cleaners for dusting ceiling fans, around appliances, under refrigerators, vents, bookshelves, furniture, cabinets, light fixtures and much more.

Just slip on the sleeve, bend the wand to suit your need and you’re ready.

The ergonomic rubber grip allows for easy, comfortable handling.

The dual-sided sleeve constructed of 80/20 polyester/polyamide Norwex Microfiber slips on the wand, which can then be bent to create multiple angles for all cleaning needs.

One side of the sleeve is nubby chenille microfiber, the other is regular microfiber.

The sleeve is removable for easy washing.

Best of all, the EnviroWand fits onto the end of the Norwex Telescopic Mop Handle to clean high window ledges, entertainment centers, ceiling corners and other hard-to-reach areas.

Now you can clean those spots you were hoping no one would notice!

How To Use The Norwex EnviroWand

Slip sleeve on and then bend EnviroWand to adapt to your needs.

The EnviroWand easily attaches to the Telescopic Mop Handle. Just squeeze the two buttons on the base and pull to remove it from the handle. Then slip the wand into the mop handle, squeeze the buttons and slide into place.

To remove the sleeve for washing, straighten the EnviroWand and then slip the sleeve off wand. To use wet, remove sleeve. Dip sleeve in water, wring out excess and replace sleeve on EnviroWand.

Sleeve is machine-washable; tumble dry with medium heat, no softener, no bleach.

5). Norwex Window Cloth

Getting windows clean quickly isn’t easy (especially if you’ll have little ones running around the house during the holidays).

In addition, many of today’s popular glass and window cleaners contain harmful chemicals, like butyl cellosolve and ammonia. And using paper towels to clean just adds to the problem of overloaded landfills and deforestation.

The Window Cloth gets windows and other glass and shiny surfaces clean and streak-free with just water.

No harmful chemicals are left behind to smear or distort light, and no paper towels are needed, which means less landfill waste and less paper dust in your home.

  • Removes EVERYTHING from all surfaces.
  • BacLock, the micro silver agent in the cloth, goes to work with self-purification properties against mold, fungi and bacterial odor within 24 hours so that it is ready to use again.
  • Cut cleaning time in half and save money by using only water.
  • No need for harsh chemicals that can harm your family’s health.
  • Save money and protect the environment by eliminating the need for paper towels.
  • Eliminates residual “chemical muck” left behind by typical cotton cloths and harsh cleaning products.
  • Experience less paper dust in your home as paper towels are eliminated.
  • Dries quickly so it’s ready to use when you are.

[youtube id=”WHldTWPOP1o”]

To clean glass, lightly mist the surface with water and polish with a dry Window Cloth.

For heavily soiled surfaces, first clean with a moist EnviroCloth, then finish with the Window Cloth, wiping in the same direction as the grain.

Slightly dirty microfiber can be washed with Norwex Dishwashing Liquid under warm running water and used again before laundering.

Cloths that have been used heavily should be laundered using Norwex Ultra Power Plus, which contains no fillers, after each use.

Do not use bleach, fabric softeners or dryer sheets when laundering.

For deep, stubborn stains or odors, microfiber can be boiled for 10 minutes to allow fibers to swell and release the debris. Rinse thoroughly after washing and air or machine dry.

Do not use on anti-glare coated surfaces.
